Our 16-acre onshore decommissioning and metal recycling site at Birchwood in Aberdeenshire, the only site of its kind in the UK, is an all-in-one processing facility with the capacity to process over 130,000 tonnes of waste per year. Having served the energy sector for over 30 years, we are look forward to sharing our expertise and knowledge with attendees.
Our Decom facility benefits from an on-site industrial weighbridge, pipe washing facility and storage area, and a heavy reinforced impermeable concrete yard complete with a closed loop drainage system. Our NORM Handling Permit allows for our in-house Radiation Protection Supervisors to handle hazardous and contaminated materials allowing RAM Decom to provide a full turnkey Service.
