Our partnership with the Russell Anderson Foundation now supports over 600 Aberdeenshire pupils every week. It was great to receive this update recently from Russell Anderson himself – who’s foundation we have supported for over five years.
The after schools club programme continues to go from strength to strength with a weekly attendance of around 415, and is now embedded in the curriculum of partner schools in Aberdeen. We’re delighted that our funding has enabled this, along with an expansion of the number of sessions available.
Our funding support for the Russell Anderson Foundation has also been used to set up an after school Inter Schools Football Festival, including weekly training sessions. The feedback from the kids and the teachers has been really positive, which is brilliant to hear.
